Care Home Research Network

The Care Home Research Network is a community of care homes in London and Essex that are working with us to support research into dementia. The homes in the network have the chance to attend free conferences, forums, training and support, as well as having the opportunity to get involved in research into dementia care.

The Network aims to:

  • Support high quality research into treatment and care of dementia in care homes
  • Provide training for care home staff
  • Support care homes and their staff to play an active role in research
  • Develop into an active community for care homes to share knowledge and build relationships
  • Provide clear information for residents and their families about the Network and research happening in their home
  • Ultimately, to provide a platform for research to improve the lives of people with dementia living in care homes
