Eric has 30 years’ experience working within the Pharmaceutical Industry in research and launching of novel compounds in the therapeutic areas of psychiatry and neurodegeneration.
He joined Centre for Innovative Therapeutics (C-FIT) in 2018 with the key objective of developing symbiotic partnerships with NGO’s, Government Funding Organisations, Digital/Pharma start-ups, SME’s and the larger Pharmaceutical Industry. Eric’s expertise and key therapeutic areas that C-FIT are concentrating on are neurodegeneration and severe mental illness.
The approach is to work on early research, i.e., bench to phase II in novel and repurposed drug technology; this also includes digital and AI therapeutics. The key focus is that the patient is at the centre of the drug therapeutic development.
