Patricia Zunszain is a Professor of Multidisciplinary Mental Health Education in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London.

She designs and organizes training for BRC-funded PhD students, providing them with a comprehensive set of academic and professional skills. She designed and leads MSc modules, including ‘Self-Identity and Intercultural/Intergenerational learning’, one of the first Service-learning modules within the University, and co-designed ‘Time to Thrive’, a programme to promote personal growth and wellbeing.

Patricia takes particular pride in supervising students, focusing now on biochemical and social aspects of depression, resilience, diversity and neuroeducation. She has been awarded the IoPPN Best staff contribution to PGR student experience, the IoPPN Personal Tutor of the Year and King’s College London Health Faculties Parade of Stars (Teaching Innovation) recognition.
