Federico Turkheimer is Professor in Neuroimaging (Analysis & Statistics) and leads the King’s Human and Synthetic Minds Institute at King’s College London. He uses Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to model brain physiology in health and disease.

Presently his work is focused on brain immunity and its relationship with the peripheral immune system and glymphatic function, the clearance system of the brain.
