Partnerships and Collaboration

We work closely with patients, industry, funders and academic partners to deliver high‑impact research, and actively welcome new collaborations. As part of the NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration, we partner with industry and charities to accelerate the development of new treatments for mental illness.

We have an extensive track record of successful collaboration with patient groups, industry, funders, and other academic centres, and we are always looking for new partners to support the delivery of innovative research.

In addition to state-of-the-art research facilities and an expert academic leadership team, our access to a diverse, well characterised patient and population cohorts means that we can deliver innovative trials and other well designed studies in mental and physical health, quickly and efficiently.

In September 2018 we joined the newly formed NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration (TRC) to work with industry and charity partners to find new treatments and therapeutics. The NIHR Mental Health TRC carries out much-needed scientific research to help transform the lives of those affected by mental illness.

Additionally, we offer consultancy, contracted services and training partnerships across all our areas of expertise.
