The UK and Ireland Speech (UKIS) workshop will take place at King’s College London from 22nd to 23rd June 2026. We look forward to seeing you there!

UKIS aims to bring together researchers within the UK and Ireland’s Speech Science and Speech Technology community, both in academia and industry. The workshop is an opportunity to share your research in our community and to make connections and network.

Workshop tickets are £85, which includes access to all sessions for the two days and the social event.

UKIS Tutorial – 24 June, 9 – 5pm, SGDP Centre

Also, in addition to the Workshop, we are pleased to introduce a new UKIS tutorial session for students, which will cover current advances in speech technologies for healthcare, alongside a hands-on session on feature extraction, modelling, and analysis. UKIS 2026 is organised by the Voice and Speech Processing for Health Lab and the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at King’s College London.
