Daisy has a BSc, MSc and PhD in cognitive sciences and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UCL, the IOPPN and at the Institute of Neurology at Queen Square. The bulk of her research work focused on neurodegenerative disorders, investigating cognitive change, the behavioural and psychology symptoms of dementia, and structural and functional neuroimaging correlates, with a special interest in hallucinations in Parkinson's Disease.

 

Daisy retrained as a data scientist and developer in 2014, followed by contracts in digital agencies, and within the NHS. Daisy joined the South London and Maudsley Trust in 2019 as a data analyst and now works as the Clinical Informatics Service Lead within CRIS and SLaM. This post focuses on the translational aspects of the broader CRIS service; deploying existing research findings and informatics techniques to make detailed data intelligence available to frontline clinicians and developing new data entities and infrastructure.
