DRIVe HEALTH

The EPSRC DRIVE‑Health Centre for Doctoral Training (DRIVE-Health) trains the next generation of health data scientists, AI researchers and software engineers to become future leaders in data‑driven healthcare innovation. Co‑created with the NHS, patients, health‑tech partners and pharma, the programme integrates rigorous academic training with hands‑on experience in active NHS environments, giving students the opportunity to apply cutting‑edge data science to real clinical challenges.

DRIVE‑Health focuses on harnessing the growing availability of biological, genomic, imaging, sensor and electronic health record data to revolutionise healthcare delivery. Students work across key scientific themes in data‑driven health, supported by a diverse and collaborative research community designed to spark innovation and accelerate the development of new solutions for public and global health.

Why join DRIVE‑Health?

Students graduate with the technical, clinical and translational skills needed to shape the future of sustainable and equitable healthcare. Through real‑world impact, cross‑sector collaboration and unparalleled access to data, DRIVE‑Health prepares researchers to become innovation leaders capable of transforming healthcare systems across the UK and beyond.
