The NIHR Research Support Service Hub is delivered by the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience and King’s Clinical Trials Unit at King’s College London.

It is run in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, University College London, University of Oxford, and the University of Leeds.

Areas of expertise

The hub focuses on improving lives affected by mental health and brain disorders, which often begin early in life and persist long-term. Its mission is to support research that prevents mental health difficulties and develops better treatments. It promotes an open, collaborative research culture and aims to train and sustain the next generation of mental health researchers.

It welcomes researchers from across England working in psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, and related methodological fields, whether in healthcare or the charity sector.
