The NIHR Maudsley BRC themes and core programmes each have an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) lead researcher. They are responsible for championing local EDI initiatives.

Researchers from National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre and King’s College London are part of two collaborative research projects funded by the Office for Life Sciences and the Scottish Government to lessen drug-related deaths across the UK.
By NIHR Maudsley BRC at 6 Sep 2023The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has awarded £41 million to the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. The NIHR funding is for five years from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2027.
