Lord O’Shaughnessy visits King’s College London and the NIHR King’s Clinical Research Facility

NIHR Maudsley BRC receives new investment from Government

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has awarded £41 million to the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. The NIHR funding is for five years from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2027.

New multi-centre clinical trial to investigate psilocybin therapy in anorexia nervosa

Researchers and clinicians from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust will be part of a new trial involving four centres that will explore the potential therapeutic benefits of psilocybin on people living with anorexia nervosa.
