A Year in Review 2022
This year our research hit the headlines - from the benefits of birdsong to the predictive power of genetics; while our researchers took to our blog to discuss important issues - such as improving equality in pain management and diversity in research studies. The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has awarded £41 million to the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. The NIHR funding is for five years from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2027.
