Novavax COVID-19 jab trialled at King’s CRF approved by UK drugs agency

UK drugs regulator, the Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has approved Novavax's Nuvaxovid vaccine, which was trialled at the King's CRF, for use in the UK.

Involving more voices in research through the Race and Ethnicity Advisory Group

Kavita Bains, an assistant psychologist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, is a member of our Race and Ethnicity Advisory (READ) group, where researchers can consult with individuals from under-represented ethnic communities on how best to conduct mental health research. Bringing together imaging and genetic mapping to investigate patterns of vulnerability in the brain

Dr Daniel Martins is a Clinical Research Associate, Dr Mattia Veronese is a senior molecular imaging scientist and Dr. Ottavia Dipasquale is a Research Associate, all in the Department of Neuroimaging at King’s College London. In this blog they discuss their recent study which is funded by the NIHR Maudsley BRC and has brought together scientists from across the world to define a new approach to integrate neuroimaging and a form of genetic mapping.
