Fellows award for Dr Katherine Young for work on the mental health of young people during and after the pandemic

A grant from MQ Mental Health Research will fund vital new studies into depression and anxiety in young people during and after the COVID-19 pandemic by Dr Katherine Young of the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London.

New swabbing pod open at King's CRF

A new swabbing pod has been installed next to the Clinical Trials Facility at King’s College Hospital so that outpatients and trial participants who are symptomatic or have tested positive for COVID-19 can continue to receive treatment or attend follow-up appointments.

Using patient data to understand service use and improve care during the COVID-19 pandemic

CRIS-COVID-19 Rapid Response Initiative is a project led by Robert Stewart and Matthew Broadbent from the Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) team. They have created a data resource which provides both clinicians and researchers short- and long-term monitoring of clinical outcomes and changes to service use during the COVID-19 pandemic.
